Once you selected a sport, the appropriate score reporting form will appear.  Any data entered through the statistics application automatically will be imported into the form.  If no information is available through the statistics application, the form will be blank when accessing it for the first time.  Subsequently, previously entered data will be saved.

To manually enter a contest, either type the game date in the appropriate box or click on the calendar in the Game Date column.  Select your opponent by clicking on the small box on the right-hand side of the Opponent column and select your opponent from the list of institutions that will appear.  Please avoid manually typing in your opponent's name as the system may not be able to match your entry to the NCAA database.  (Exception:  All non-NCAA opponents, e.g., NAIA schools, must be entered manually as they are not listed in the NCAA database.)  If your opponent was an in-region opponent, click the checkbox in the In Region column next to the opponent's name.  If applicable, also check the Distance < 200 Include checkbox if you or your opponent traveled less than 200 miles (this column is for Division III schools only).  From the drop-down menu in the Location column, select whether the game was conducted at a neutral site, or was a home or an away game.  Finally, enter your score in the Your Score column, and your opponent's score in the Opponent Score column.  Your team's record will automatically be calculated as results are entered.

Once all data is imported or entered, it is possible that several records appear highlighted in various colors.  A color-coded record indicates a potential "problem record or an opponent that has information that needs to be verified."  The various colors are as follows:

Dark green – Indicates non-division opponent

Red – Opponent's data does not match your data (date, location and/or score)

Light green – Opponent has not entered a game against you

Yellow – Opponent was not matched to an institution from the NCAA membership database (i.e., non-NCAA members)

Pink – Opponent is provisional member

Orange – Opponent is a dual member (NCAA/NAIA member)

Light Brown – Opponent is reclassifying to another division

Note:  This legend also may be accessed by clicking on the Color Legend link.

Contests marked in yellow will not be included in in-region and division-based criteria.  If the opponent highlighted in yellow is an NCAA member institution, please delete the opponent's name, then click on the small box on the right-hand side of the Opponent column and select the appropriate institution from the list.  Also, contests marked in red can be corrected, if necessary.  All contests, including color-coded contests, will be included in the system's calculations.

If you would like to delete a contest from the score reporting form, click on the checkbox in the Delete column, then save.  If so desired, you may re-enter the same contest at the bottom of the page.  Once you save the new information, all contests will again be sorted by date.
