Selection
Procedures. Per
the Division I Championships/Competition Cabinet’s request, please see
the attached executive summary (Attachment
A) and the report regarding Division I wrestling selection procedures (Attachment
B).
2.
Academic
Progress Rate. The National
Wrestling Coaches Association has recently formed a task force to study the
academic progress rate (APR) as it relates to the sport of Division I wrestling.
This task force consists of representatives from various conference and
regional qualifying tournaments.
